The lighting gradually went darker as the man started being greedy. Whereas by the end of it low key lighting was being used, almost as if its indicating that something is going to go wrong. In the beginning they have used high key lighting, in other words the lighting is very even and not as contrasting. I also noticed the how the lighting changes, the second time I watched the film. In this short film they have used cold looking lighting to give this character a sophisticated look. Low key lighting is used to show more contrast, whereas high key lighting is used to produce an even amount of light. In order to get a better understanding of this short film I have done some research on how lighting helps change the mood. The peak of the film is when he steals from a safe full of money and he gets trapped inside. When he’s printing he realises that the black hole can be used to what he he wants, he let’s his greed get the best of him by stealing from the office. It’s crime short film that shows a character who has this piece of page and black hole on it.
